Internationally known, award-winning quilt artist, Carol Taylor, approaches her quilt making with intensity and seemingly boundless energy. Vibrant colors, striking contrasts and machine quilting distinguish the over 450 quilts she has created since she began in 1993.  Carol has won five "Best of Show" awards in her career.with five different quilts! She exhibits nationally and has won a myriad of awards at quilt and mixed media shows and galleries over the years, with an amazing 22 major prizes in 2005 alone. She has been included in Visions 2004, Quilt National 2001 and 1999 and the Museum of Art and Design in NYC has one of Carol's quilts in their permanent collection.
