Revised Supply List
Sewing machine required with free motion capability.
Solving compositional problems by utilizing line created by free motion sewing will be the primary focus of this class. Students will:
1. Be encouraged to experiment with line quality while utilizing principles of design. As they experiment, they will also be encouraged to find new ways of incorporating line into their work.
2. Be given exercises that will force them to move from their comfort zone and make them rely on their own creative thinking.
3. Work visually on cloth, using familiar characteristics of line but challenged to discover the new!
There will be group and individual critiques.
Bring quilts you have ready for quilting to apply what you learn in class.
In this class the only person you have to please is yourself.
