Lura Schwarz Smith, has a BA in Art from San Francisco State University, and has been producing and showing her art quilts for 30 years. One of her quilts was voted one of the “100 Best American Quilts of the 20th Century”, and she was included in the “30 Distinguished Quilt Artists of the World” exhibit at the first Tokyo Dome quilt show in 2002.

Kerby has a degree in Art History from Hobart College in Geneva, NY. He spent a brief time as curator of photography and film at the Everson Museum in Syracuse, NY and was one of the pioneering members of the Soho Photo Gallery in NYC and is a photojournalist. His passion for the photographic image has been expanded by digital technology as it gives artists more creative ways to work with photographic images in their work. His goal is to take the mystery out of the digital process.
