Let Your Clothes Speak for You

2 days - All Levels

In this workshop students will create a garment that will speak for them. Using a
traditional or contemporary pattern Rachel will help each student to create a one of a kind garment that is reflective of the creator’s personality, ethnicity, expresses a social or political sentiment or sense of humor.  A variety of construction and embellishment techniques will be explored. Students will be encouraged to mix contrasting prints, colors and textures and to add buttons, ribbons, molas, beads, or whatever is necessary to make the garment into a personal statement.
